BEING A SYNOPSIS OF THE LOTS SOLD AT VARIOUS TIMES ON EXECUTION AGAINST THE CITY, WITH THE REDEMPTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE FUNDED DEBT.

The first judgment under which sales of city property has taken place was the judgment of Peter Smith vs. The City of San Francisco, rendered in the Superior Court of the city, on the 25th day of February, 1851, for the sum of $19,239, with interest at 3 percent, per month from the time of rendition. A certified copy of the same was filed in the office of the County Recorder of this county, on the 14th day of March, 1851, at five minutes before 12 o'clock, M. On this judgment execution was issued on the 8th day of March, 1851, and on the 8th day of July succeeding a Sheriff's Sale to place of property as follows:

The second Judgment under which sales of city property have taken place, was the Judgment of Peter Smith vs. The City of San Francisco, rendered on the 4th day of March, 1851, for the sum of $45,538, bearing interest at the rate of three percent, per month from the time of rendition. A certified copy of the same was filed in the office of County Reporter of this county on the 14th day of March, 1851, at five minutes before 12 o'clock, M. On this Judgment execution was issued on the 10th day of March, 1851, and on the 14th day of June, 1851, a Sheriff's Sale took place, as follows:

The third Judgment under which sales of city property have taken place was the Judgment of Peter Smith vs. The City of San Francisco, rendered in the Superior Court of this city, on the 6th day of September, 1851, for the sum of $13,960, bearing interest at the rate of three percent, per month from the date of rendition. On this Judgment execution was issued on the 11th day of September, 1851, and on the 10th day of November following a Sheriff's Sale took place of property, as follows:

All the following described land, situated in the county of San Francisco, to wit: Commencing at a point on the northwesterly corner of the present city plat of the city of San Francisco, where Larkin Street, as laid down on the plat, intersects with the Bay of San Francisco; thence running south on the line of Larkin Street to the place of its intersection with the north line of Clay Street, as laid down on said maps; thence in a westerly direction at right angles with Larkin Street, and in a direct line with the northern line of Clay Street, when the same is extended, to the distance of 160 chains; thence and a northerly direction at right angles with Clay Street, and parallel to Larkin Street, to ship' s channel in the Bay of San Francisco; thence and an easterly direction following ship' s channel, to a point in the bay which is on a line with the westerly line of Larkin Street; thence in a southerly direction on the western side of Larkin Street, to the shore of the bay, which is the place of commencement, excepting and preserving, however, those lots situated near Larkin Street, and laid down on said city map and numbered from one to twenty	six	I. All the property sold on this last Execution on the 30th day of January, 1852, was redeemed on the 29th of July, 1852, by the Commissioners of the Funded Debt of the City of San Francisco; and of the property so redeemed, the redemption money has been accepted for the following lots: 100 vara lots 11, 24, 30, 88,109,163; 50 vara lots 729,732,733; block 19, on North Beach.

The fourth Judgment under which sales of city property have taken place was the Judgment of James M. Morrow vs. The City of San Francisco, rendered in the Superior Court of this city, on the 14th day of January, 1851, for the sum of $2,328, bearing interest in the rate of three per cent, per month from the date above rendition. On this Judgment execution was issued on the 25th day of January, 1851, and an Alias Execution on the 5th day of July, 1851, on the 12th day of August, 1851,a Sheriff's Sale took place of property, as follows:

The fifth Judgment under which sales of city property have taken place was the Judgment of Gabriel Winter and Benjamin G. Latimer vs. The City of the San Francisco, rendered in the Superior Court of this city, on the 18th day of January, 1851, for the sum of $3,075, bearing interest at the rate of ten per cent, per annum from the time of rendition. On this Judgment execution was issued on the 23d day of January, 1851, and an Alias Execution on the 23rd day of August, 1851, on the 18th day of September, 1851, a Sheriff's Sale took place of property, as follows:

The seventh Judgment under which sales of city property have been taken was the Judgment of Samuel A. Morrison vs. the City of San Francisco, rendered in the District Court of the Fourth Judicial District, on the 20th day of May, 1851, for the sum of $2477 42, bearing interest at the rate of ten per cent, per annum from the time of rendition, and an "Order of Sale" to sell certain property, under and by virtue of a "Mechanics Lien," issued May 26, 1851, and the Sheriff's Sale by virtue thereof to place on the 11th day of July, 1851, of the following property, to wit:
