The commencement exercises of College San Rafael (under the direction of sisters of St. Dominic) were held Tuesday, May 28th at 2 p.m.  The Assembly hall was neatly decorated with roses, ferns, and palm leaves, and was crowded with visitors who enjoyed the exercises which consisted of a most excellent music program and closed with a valedictory by Miss AMY O’CONNOR, followed by a brief address by Archbishop Riordan.  The ladies participating were dressed in white.  The graduating class consisted of:

Miss ELLA BETHUNE - Kirkwood, Sonoma
Miss JULIA CURTAIN – Morlana
Miss AMY O’CONNOR – Alameda

Honors were awarded as follows:

Medal for Scholarship – Miss AMY O’CONNOR
Medal for vocal music – Miss ELLA BETHUNE
Distinguished – Miss CLARICE ENA, Miss MARY ENA, Miss MAYBELLE ENA, Miss DAISY ENA, Miss AGNES MALONEY
Medal for Latin – Miss AMY O’CONNOR
Distinguished for application in instrumental music – Miss BELLE LAEGIER, Miss AILEEN HOWATT, Miss DAISY ENA, Miss AGNES MALONEY
Distinguished for banjo – Miss CLARICE ENA
