Fee-based Services

There are times when the most diligent researchers become stuck at difficult "brick walls" in their research.  Sometimes, they need asearch of records that is too time consuming to ask volunteers for helpwith.  Perhaps a volunteer who offers that particular lookup or servicecan't be found. (Have you checked the list of lookup offers and links toother lookup services on the Lookup Help page?) Some people simply don't enjoy the thrill of the hunt that comeswith doing their own research, or perhaps they've always been curious abouttheir family history, but just don't have the time or patience that's requiredfor genealogical research.

We've tried to list professional and/or experienced researchers whoare established or reputable, come highly recommended by people whose judgement we trust, or with whom we have personally worked in the past.  However, please be aware that we don't necessarily endorse or guarantee the services of any of these research professionals or organizations.  This listis provided for information only, based on numerous requests we've receivedfor such a list.  Questions, research requests, fee structures, arrangementsfor payment, or complaints must be handled strictly between you and the provider whose services you are considering.
