Does anyone know the location of the BISHOP ARMITAGE ORPHANGE? When my GG grandfather died in San Francisco in 1885, his destitute widow was forced to place her 3 children in the orphanage. I know it was in San Mateo, but where? My great grandfather's name was Barzillai ANSLEY.
