“DIED. In this city, November 24th, Margaret M. Harlan, aged 22 years, 2 months and 4  days, eldest daughter of F. A. and Margaret Bonnard. Notice of the funeral will be given in to-morrow's papers.” END

“DIED. In this city, November 24th, Margaret M., wife of E[lisha] Harlan, of Amador, Contra Costa County, and eldest daughter of Margaret and F[rancis] A[lexander] Bonnard, aged 22 years, 2 months and 2 days. Her remains will be interred in the I. 0. 0. F Cemetery on Thursday morning [November 28], at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends will attend the funeral from [the parents’ home at] No. 1509 Jackson street, between Hyde and Larkin.” END
