Simeon Gashwiler was a wealthy businessman in SF in the late 1800's. He married Mary E. Ganoy (sp?) the widow of SF newspsper owner Charles Frederick Hamilton and had a daughter, Mary Catherine Gashwiler, b. 1869, CA. She married Albert Baldwin Bagley in 1892. He is listed in the 1900 San Francisco Census living with an aunt and no wife although he had been married for 9 years. I am unable to find Mary Gashwiler Bagley in the 1900-1930 Censuses and wonder what happened to her. Albert Bagley doesn't appear in the Censuses after 1900.
