: we are looking to purchase historical maps, reproductions or originals, can someone recommend a store in SF to purchase?

Argonaut Book Shop, 786 Sutter Street
http://www.argonautbookshop.com/

They occasionally have historical maps available for sale.

Prints Old & Rare
http://www.printsoldandrare.com/

They are in Pacifica and have some maps for sale.

American Memory Maps

They have some excellent maps. You can download the high-resoluton images (for free), and have local printers print them out.

There are some on eBay who do this and sell them. You can also, of course, find other items on eBay.
