Dufficy Will Is Filed for Probate

The holographic will of Miss Veronica A. Dufficy was filed for probate in the Superior Court here by the attorney for t he estate, Jordan L. Martinelli. The exact value of t he estate, which is said to consist of an undivided two-ninths interest in the “Dufficy estate” which has property in Marin, Yuba and Solano counties, and personal property, cash and securities, is not given. Miss Dufficy, member of the San Rafael High School faculty for 31 years, died a few weeks ago.

The will was made August 18, 1921, a sister, Alicia D. Friedlander being named as executrix. A codicil was made on January 28, 1927.

Miss Dufficy bequeathed to her friend Eleanor Gilogly Murray, her automobile, furniture of her room and any personal effects she desired; to her god-children, Edwin Constance Barry, Richard Dufficy Friedlander, Ellis Rafael Dufficy, William Franklin Murray and Ann Dufficy, $500 each; to her brothers, George, Charles and Rafael, and her sister, Sister M. Michael, she bequeathed $100 each; the remainder of her real and personal property she left to her sisters, Mary D. Tormey, Josephine D. Barry, Alicia D. Friedlander, Elizabeth D. Muzzy, to share and share alike.
