Pollard Will Distributes Estate of $500,000

The will of the late Thomas Pollard, disposing of an estate of $500,000, has been filed in the Superior Court for probate. The instrument was dated may 8, 1918.

By its provision the Union Trust Company, of San Francisco, becomes the executor of the will and the trustee of the trusts created for the surviving children of the deceased.

Three-fourths of the estate is to be converted into cash within the next five years and the proceeds distributed in equal shares to Thomas Pollard Jr., A. W. Pollard and Alfred J. Pollard. The remaining fourth is bequeathed to Evelyn Hund, a daughter, now living in San Francisco. Mrs. Hund also receives the residence on Parkwood Heights, which she occupies. A trust fund of $25,000 is created for Walter S. and Earl Pollard, grandsons of the deceased, whose father, Walter Pollard, died some time ago.

Rev. Father William J. Cantwell of Ross and Rev. Father John Egan of Oakland each receive $500 under the will.
