Dead Newspaper Man Leaves $11,000 In Bank

Coroner and Public Administrator J. Ray Keaton who took charge of the estate of Andrew M. Johnson, following the latter’s death last Sunday, announced that Johnson left cash, bonds and stocks valued between $10,000 and $11,000 in the First National Bank of San Rafael. The money was kept in a safe deposit box. As far as the Administrator has been able to learn, no relatives survive.

Johnson was employed as librarian for the San Francisco Examiner, and was considered one of the most proficient and worthy men in the department. He resided in this city, where he was well known. He never married.
