Will of Jane La Page:
The Will of Jane La Page has been filed for probate in the offices of the County Clerk. The estate consists of the valuable "Bellelvue" lot on the corner of Fourth and B streets, a residence on Third Street and some personal property. Rev. Hugh Lagan is appointed executor. After some minor legacies the bulk of the property is devised to the surviving children of her deceased sister, Honora Mazeau, share and share alike. The executor is directed to sell the Third Street property to pay current expenses aand legacies. The Fourth Street property is to be handled and administered for 10 years from the date of her death. At the expiration of that period it is to be sold and divided among the aforesaid heirs, the children of Honora Mazeau. The Will is witnessed by Messrs. Sawyer and Burnett, who are the attorneys representing the estate.

A Will Contest:
The Will of the late Mrs. Jane La Page will be contested. The lady bequeathed to the St. Vincent's Orphan Asylum $250; to the priest in charge of the San Rafael CAtholic Church, for repairs to the Church $250; and for the masses for repose of the soul of decedent $100; to Mrs. Mary Wallace and Mrs. Mary Coulter $100 each; to Miss Pauline Coulter, goddaughter, Miss Nellie Murray, and Rev. P. Birmingham, each $100. Rev. Father Lagan was appointed executor withour bonds. He was directed to sell the Third Street property, to pay debts and expenses. The other property was given in trust to the executor, to rent and invest for 10 years, and at the end of that time all to go to the then living children of her sister, Honora Mazeau. These children are Catherine L. Brown, James J. Mazeau, and Edward P. Mazeau, and they have filed a notice of contest of the Will, on the ground that t he testator was mentally incompetent, and not of a sound and disposing mind.
