I am wondering how I can find information on Lewis E Choate. He is listed as incarcerated at San Quentin Prison on the 1930 Federal census. Does anyone know how I can find info re: why he was incarcerated and for how long? He died in Nov 1944 and is buried in the LA national cemetery. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
