Melrose - Strubel families

I am looking for additional information about Katie E. Strubel and and James Robinson Melrose. They were married in Marlin county in 1907. I found the children,Ruth E., Margaret and Mildred Melrose were in the Roman Catholic Orphanage in San Francisco, California
in the 1920 census. I believe that Frank G. Strubel, a brother of Katie got custody of the girls about 1920.
They are listed with him in the 1930 census
in San Francisco with the Stubel surname.
Frank died in 1963 at San Francisco.
Any information about these people will be
much appreciated.
