for obituaries for Claude R. Grant, Alice L. Grant, Helen I. Flynn and Richard J. Flynn since that is where they died.

The California Death Index gives this information:
Helen I. Flynn died Solano Co. April 20, 1988; born Wisc. March 12, 1897; mother's maiden name was Gilbertson
Richard J. Flynn died Solano Co. Oct. 22, 1974; born Wisc. March 4, 1892
Claude R. Grant died Solano Co. Jan. 9, 1980; born Aug. 29, 1905 Dist. of Columbia; mother's maiden name was King.
Alice L. Grant died Solano Co. Jan. 26, 1992; born Wisc. Sept. 24, 1903; mother's maiden name was Gilbertson; father's name was Carlson

I can't help you with obits outside Marin County.
