Melville Dollar Funeral Saturday
Last Rites to be Held in Vancouver
The funeral services for A. Melville Dollar, shipping man and oldest son of the late Captain Robert Dollar, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 oíclock at the Melville Dollar home, 3890 Hudson Ave., Vancouver.
Word was received this afternoon from R. Stanley Dollar, about the funeral arrangements. He and his wife went to Vancouver immediately when he learned of his brotherís death.
J. Harold Dollar did not go north, but remained with his mother who is now bearing a double burden of grief, as Captain Dollarís death only occurred two weeks ago. Melville Dollar seemed in the best of health when he was here to attend the funeral of his distinguished father, although he had been under the care of a physician for a heart complaint. He was stricken with a heart attack Tuesday night, and died a few minutes later. He had made his home for many years in Vancouver where he had his own shipping line. He is survived by his widow and 7 children.
