Jean Anne Hill
A funeral for Jean Anne Hill of Petaluma will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Church of Christ, 825 Middlefield Road, Petaluma.
Mrs. Hill died Monday at her Petaluma home. She was 62.
She was born in Long Beach. Educated in Southern California, she graduated from Pomona College with a degree in English.
A Petaluma resident since 1945, Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and an active volunteer at the Petaluma Library. Her husband, the late William F. Hill, and her family owned and operated the Gold Eagle Milling Co. in Petaluma for many years. The old company building was restored for shops and a restaurant several years ago.
Mrs. Hill was a member of the Corinthian Circle of the United Church of Christ.
She is survived by three daughters, Diana Sue Johnson of Pacific Grove, Margaret J. Serafini of Sonoma, and Melissa Jean Rawson of Crescent City, and six grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Hospice of Petaluma, P.O. Box 621, Petaluma 94953.
