ALBERT UNTERNAHRER
Highly Regarded Young Man Succumbs After Brief Illness

The death of Albert Unternahrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Unternahrer, occurred Monday, Nov. 13, at the family residence on Blithedale avenue. On the preceding Monday Mr. Unternahrer returned from his work in the city with what appeared to be an ordinary cold, but in a few days pneumonia had developed and the end came quickly.

Mr. Unternahrer was the older of two sons and was in his 26th year. He was a native of San Francisco, but had a strong preference for country life and due to his earnest desire and love for Mill Valley his parents came over from the city and erected a charming little bungalow here with an exceptionally fine view of the mountain. Albert was much interested in the construction of this home and worked constantly with the builders and often since then on the grounds. He has always been frail and consequently much of a home boy. He was educated in the Mill Valley schools and had a three-years’ course at Heald’s Business College. Desirous of making use of this business preparation he had taken a place in the city which after but two weeks was terminated by what proved to be his last illness. He was a young man of sterling qualities, devoted to his parents and brother, Walter, and by his kind and friendly qualities had many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Suhr's undertaking parlors in the city. Interment was at Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
