William E. Thune
William E. Thune passed away in Mill Valley on Wednesday, March 8. He and Mrs. Thune had resided here only a week. They had taken the Leonhart house on Miller Avenue, planning to remain for some time.
Mr. Thune was not rugged, but his passing came suddenly and unexpectedly. He was something past 63 years of age, lowa being his native state. He was a retired merchant and had recently resided in San Francisco. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of the World. His wife, Mrs. Grace Thune, was his only immediate relative. He was also related to Mr. and Mrs. C. Baken of Miller Avenue.
The deceased had been for many years an attendant upon the Methodist Episcopal Church. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, March 10, at Dowd’s parlors on Madrone Street and interment was in Fernwood Cemetery.
