Beloved Pioneer Succumbs To Years
In the death of Mrs. Hannah Healion last Wednesday, Marin county loses one of its few remaining pioneers She reached the age of 84 years and was the widow of the late Thos. Healion and devoted mother of William and Arthur Healion, Mrs. McAdams and Mrs. J. Richards of San Francisco.
Mrs. Healion resided in the Nicasio valley for more than a half century and the many friends who filled to over flowing the Lady of Lourdes Church in Olema, where the last sad rites were said, spoke the highest esteem of a "good mother."
The funeral was held from the Eden Residence Parlors on Fifth avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. It was followed by a requiem mass at the Olema Catholic Church.
Many prominent San Rafael people followed the remains to their last resting place in the family plot, Olema cemetery, among them the active pall bearers: Judge E. I. Butler. Dr. Jos. Butler, of San Francisco, Thos. Redding, Charles A. Redding. John Geary, John Gallagher, James Rogers and J. J. Keating.
