VIRGINIA B. SMITH
Funeral for Virginia B. Smith, a retired insurance adjuster, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Mrs. Smith, 71, died unexpectedly at her home, 416 Fourth Street, Wednesday of natural causes, according to the Marin County coronerís office.
Mrs. Smith was the widow of Clifford S. Smith, who had worked for the General Services Administration in San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
She had worked for Industrial Indemnity of San Francisco as an insurance adjuster. She was a volunteer with the National Red Cross in Washington D.C.
Mrs. Smith returned to Marin about two years ago to be near a niece, Dreda Grambow of Kentfield. She was a native of Spokane, Wash.
Surviving are three sisters, Margaret Stephenson of Spokane, Helen James of Santa Cruz and Louise Adams of San Diego.
Interment will be private.
