Mrs. Albena C. Bockrath, widow of San Quentin Prison guard Charles Bockrath, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness. She was 94.
A native of New York City, she had lived in California for 90 years. Since 1951, Mrs. Bockrath, whose husband died in 1947, had made her home with her son, Clarence W. Bockrath at 46 West Crescent Drive, San Rafael.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence and Robert R. Bockrath of Chico; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Barnett of Sacramento; a brother, William S. Lindberg of San Francisco; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment will be private.
