Mrs. Julia Mancebo Is Laid to Rest
Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Julia Mancebo, Sausalito pioneer, who died recently after an illness. Rites were held from the mortuary of Keaton & Dusel in this city, under the auspices of Sea Point Parlor 196 of Sausalito, thence to St. Raphael’s Church, at 9 o’clock, where a mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul.
Mrs. Mancebo and her late husband, John, conducted a grocery store at Sausalito for many years. She was a native of California, and a sister of Mrs. Mary Alameda of Berkeley, George Ennis, Joseph Ennis, Antone Ennis of San Jose and Lucas Ennis of Jamestown. Her son, Frank Mancebo, was killed in an accident last year.
Mrs. Mancebo was a member of Sausalito Lodge, S.P.R.S.I., and the Native Daughters of the Golden West.
