Helen K. Glotzer
Helen K. Glotzer of San Rafael, former counselor at the College of Marin Women’s Center, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Glotzer, 46, was graduated with honors from the College of Marin and was a student in psychology at Sonoma State College.
Her studies centered on problems faced by women re-entering school or the job market after careers as homemakers.
She was a counselor at the women’s center until becoming ill six months ago.
Mrs. Glotzer moved from New York to San Rafael eight years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph; two daughters, Diane Glotzer of Sausalito and Janis Jasmine of Santa Rosa; two brothers, Dr. Jerome L. Klaif of Westbury, N.Y., and Dr. Charles H. Klaif of Marin.
Memorial services will be in Westbury, N.Y., tomorrow.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Marin Chapter of the Northern California Kidney Foundation.
