Private service is planned for Harvey B. Kaywood, an employee of the Kaywood Cove gift shop in Sausalito, who collapsed and died unexpectedly Thursday as he was closing up for the day.
Kaywood, 66, of San Francisco, ran the shop two days a week for his son, Wiley Kaywood of San Francisco, the owner.
The elder Kaywood was born in Kansas City, Mo., and worked 40 years as supervisor for the National Tea Co. in Chicago. Upon his retirement four years ago, he moved with his family to the Bay Area.
Kaywood also is survived by his wife, Ruth Kaywood of San Francisco, and two other sons, Blaine Kaywood of San Carlos and Jeffry Kaywood of San Francisco.
