Private funeral for Josephine E. Zeh, 95, a longtime resident of Inverness, was held yesterday at Noble Chapel, Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Zeh died Friday in Tiburon following a long illness.
A native of San Francisco, she lived there until her husband, the late Louis Zeh, retired in 1936. The couple then moved to Inverness where they had maintained a summer home for years.
Zeh was the retired secretary of the California State Board of Pharmacy. Before that, until the 1906 earthquake, he operated two pharmacies in San Francisco.
Mrs. Zeh was a member of the Inverness Garden Club and the guild of St. Columba’s Church in Inverness.
Survivors are a daughter, Louise Zeh Morrow of San Francisco, a son, Whitney H Wells of Carlisle, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Preston Boomer of San Jose.
