DR. TERRY LAIRD
Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Terry Turner Laird of Tiburon will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mill Valley.
Laird, 70, died at home yesterday.
A native of California, Laird graduated from the University of California school of pharmacy and Stanford University medical school. He served in the U.S. Navy medical corps during World War II.
He practiced medicine in Modesto, San Rafael and at the veterans home in Yountville.
He lived in Marin during the 1940s but left to live in other areas, including Napa. He returned to Marin about three years ago. He lived at 16 Janet Way.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Tiburon; a daughter, Jane Moore of Vallejo; two sons, Dr. Terry Scott Laird of Gilroy, Santa Clara County, and David E. Laird of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Navelle Barry of Sacramento, and nine grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be at Tolocay Cemetery in Napa.
