Calbin (sic) James Robideau, 67, a 44 year resident of Sausalito, died last week while on a hunting trip in Sonoma county. He had been in poor health for the past eight months. Robideau was visiting at the Sonoma ranch of Mrs. Josephine Coleman at the time of his death.
A former member of the United States Army, Robideau was the son of the late Edward Robideau, a veteran of the Civil War, and his grandfather was the first pony express rider in the state of Michigan. Robideau was a native of Erie, Michigan.
In Sausalito he resided at 109 Second street and has no known survivors. Funeral services and burial will be at Golden Gate National cemetery, Colma, tomorrow morning beginning at 11:15.
