Mrs. Skupin was born and reared in Poland, coming to this country as a young bride. She lived most of her life in Warren, Mich., a suburb of Detroit. She was the widow of Anton Skupin, who died in 1969.
Mrs. Skupin had spent the Winters in San Rafael at her daughter’s home for many years and two years ago, she moved there.
In addition to her daughter in San Rafael, she is survived by two other daughters, Frances Pietowski and Helena Szymanski, both of Warren, Mich.; one son, Leo Skupin of Redford, Mich., 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Mandziuk Funeral Home in Warren and burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
The family prefers memorial contributions to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in San Rafael.
A Death Notice on the same page identifies her San Rafael daughter as Gertrude (Scoop) Holmes; Mrs. Skupin was also the mother of the late Genevieve Patroske.
