A funeral for Scott Crain of Tiburon, a resident of Marin for 14 years, was held Wednesday at the Russell and Gooch mortuary in Mill Valley.
Crain died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home. He was 57.
He was a native of Missouri and moved to Petaluma in 1941. He worked as a welder there until retiring five years ago. He was a member of the Petaluma Moose Lodge.
In 1964, he and his wife, Virginia Crain, moved to Tiburon.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Cecil Boyd of Holland and Louis Boyd of San Rafael; four brothers, Charles Crain and Harry Crain, both of Missouri, Peter Crain of Los Angeles and Chester Crain of Colorado; a sister, Mary Crain of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
