Miss Tina Magneson Dies in Norway

Mrs. Ethel Murray Moore received work this week that Miss Tina Magneson who with her brother, C. Magneson, lived for many years on Walnut drive, Ross, had passed away in Stravanger, Norway, on January 13, following a long illness.

The Magneson family at one time owned considerable property in Ross, and also all of the Hayes tract at Highland, in 1900.

Miss Magneson will be remembered by many of Marin’s old time residents. She was a very energetic person, and spent her time most unselfishly serving others. Recently the King of Norway, hearing of the great work she had been doing among the blind people of Norway, translating books and converting them into the Braille system, awarded her a beautiful gold medal.

Miss Magneson was 70 years of age.
