Death Takes Mrs. Nona Deringer
Death yesterday claimed Mrs. Nona C. Deringer, 80-year-old San Rafael woman, following a short illness at her home, 1101 C street. She was a native of England.
Mrs. Deringer had lived in San Rafael for the past 24 years and formerly lived in Colorado. She came to America with her family 70 years ago. Her late husband Dewitt C. Deringer, had been a miner and a railroad employee in Colorado.
She is the mother of Mrs. P. S. Harless of 377 Marguerita drive, San Rafael, whose husband is a contractor.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Harless, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. L. C. O’Daniel of Reno, a son, Dewitt C. Deringer, a mining engineer of New York en route to South Africa, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Robinson of Los Angeles and Mrs. Tindall Evans of Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in San Rafael under direction of Keaton’s mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
