BONITA T. BENZ
Former Marin resident
Private family services will be held for Bonita T. Benz of Willows, a former Marin resident who died Dec. 30 at 78.
The Kansas native worked for Pacific Telephone Co. before her retirement. She lived in Marin County for more than 40 years and in Willows for 20 years.
She was a member of the Larkspur/Corte Madera Druids and a lifetime member of the ladies auxiliary of the Larkspur Volunteer Fire Department.
In Willows, Mrs. Benz was past-president of the Monday Afternoon Club and the Chico Chargers Good Sam Club.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Walter Benz of Willows; a son, George Eatherton of Oregon House; two daughters, Barbara Hockerson of Windsor and Carol Slaugh of Esparto; a stepson, Richard Ranger Benz of Larkspur; two brothers, W. V. Dunlap of Ohio and E. B. Dunlap of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
