Services were held Monday from Keatonís Mortuary, Sausalito, for Dick Marshall, 57, San Quentin guard, who died suddenly from a heart attack.
Marshall, who had been employed at the prison 13 years, reported for work and then complained of not feeling well. He returned home and shortly after was stricken, death occurring a few hours later.
Marshall was a member of Sea Point Parlor, Native Sons, and San Rafael Lodge, Elks.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Marshall. Interment was at Fernwood Cemetery, S. F.
