Mrs. Ella Haas, 65, died in her sleep early yesterday at her home 134 West Blithedale Avenue, Mill Valley. Death apparently was due to natural causes, reported Eugene R. Fontaine, assistant county coroner.
She was found at 8 a.m. by a friend, Mrs. Julia Hughes with whom she shared the home. Time of death was estimated as 5 a.m.
Mrs. Haas was a native of Germany and had lived in Marin about 22 years. She was the widow of Max Haas, who died about 1948.
She has no known relative in the United States, said Fontaine.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
