Mrs. M. Feliz Dies On Visit Here
Summoned from Petaluma to care for Mrs. Castro, her sister, in San Rafael, who was extremely ill at the time, Mrs. Mary J. Feliz was stricken suddenly last Saturday morning with an attack of congestion of the lungs and passed away Sunday evening.
Mrs. Feliz had been in attendance upon her sister four days when the attack came. Almost immediately she became unconscious. Her relatives were notified and the immediate members of her family were present when the end came. Mrs. Castro, although sadly bereaved in the death of her beloved sister, is improving in health.
Mrs. Feliz was a granddaughter of Markas West, the wealthy Englishman who founded the well known Mark West springs. She was the mother of twelve children, four of whom are dead.
She leaves two sisters in San Rafael, Mrs. Louisa Castro and Mrs. Mary Flanagan. Her husband, G. C. Feliz and the following children survive her: Mrs. George Collamore, Forest Knolls; Mrs. W. S. Winkler, Green Valley; Mrs. F. L. Armstrong, Chas. Feliz, and Mrs. L. Deini, of Petaluma; Mrs. C. M. Dillon of San Francisco; G. C. Feliz Jr., and Sisto J. Feliz, of Santa Rosa.
