Wondering if anyone has access to Sutro or another library with this collection: Enciclopedia Heráldica Hispano-Americana
if so can you look up the ROMERO Family vol 80 page 5.
Researching Juan Romero b abt 1814 Chili, was living in El Dorado Co. abt 1840's, married Antonia Vega. Juan died in PLacer Co. CA and buried there in a pauper's grave.
His son Juan or John Romero died 11 July 1906 San Francisco, supposedly while working for the RailRoad, maybe in a tunnel cave in. Trying to gather up a few loose ends on this family. Antonia Vega Romero died 10 May 1906 Alameda County. Wondering if she has an obit/death certificate with her parents names. Did she die from injuries from the big quake? Alot of their children came to the bay area and I find them in Berkley, Alameda, as well as other bay area towns, some returned to Placer Co. Would like to connect to their hispanic roots.
