Family History Library
The Church of the Latter Day Saints (LDS) maintains
a Family History Library (FHL) in Salt Lake City, Utah. It contains an
extensive amount of genealogical and historical resources for the entire
world, some of which are on microfilm. Many of these resources can be requested
from the main library and viewed at local Family History Centers
(FHC) around the world. Some of the local centers maintain a permanent
copies.
